What is Green Glue?

Green Glue is a revolutionary sound proofing material which is proving very popular amongst professionals who build recording studios and cinemas. It works well as part of any standard stud wall and can be added to existing walls, floors and ceilings without needing to remove existing materials.

When sandwiched between 2 sheets of plasterboard the noise reduction through a wall is improved dramatically. It works by damping vibration which enters the wall, reducing the amount of energy which gets through to the other side.

How much do I need to buy?

This price is for a single tube. You can use a minimum of 1 tube and a maximum of 3 tubes per 8' x 4' (2.4M x 1.2M) sheet of plasterboard. For most applications 2 tubes per 8' x 4' sheet are recommended.
