FREE MIDI FILE SONG BUILDERS You don't need to have the Studio version of Making Waves to use/try out these excellent .midi files. Download the files and select the "STUDIO DEMO" from the Help menu, then select a MIDI Instrument by selecting 'CREATE' in the MIDI menu 'INSTRUMENT SETTINGS' tab, double click the 'GM' folder and then select your MIDI Playback device eg Creative Midi Synth. Locate a .midi file and load it in the same way as an audio loop. Experiment by swapping midi sounds for VST Instruments and/or Audio samples and you will quickly see how dramatically midi can impact your own music making. Midi templates and files are the quickest and easiest way to harness all the knowledge and production techniques used by top musicians. Midi files are far more creative than audio loops alone and when the two are used in conjunction anything can be achieved. Have a look at the MIDI Cut'n'Paste tutorial written by Julian Coldbeck of Keyfax included in the FREE MIDI download file and start making the most of MIDI right now.
